Shakira’s 43rd birthday happened to coincide with the Super Bowl Halftime Show, but that didn’t stop her from having a party, complete with a VIP guest list. One of those special guests was Beyoncé, who may have been in Miami for the big game and the birthday festivities, but she didn’t disappoint when she and Shakira gave fans a “Beautiful Liar” reunion that they didn’t know they needed.

For her part, Shakira said that the best gift she received was the opportunity to perform for her fans. She thanked them for their support following her half time show performance, writing, “The best birthday gift has been the support of all my fans and the most amazing and hardworking team an artist could wish for. We Latinos climbed Kilimanjaro and made history tonight and we couldn’t have done it without all of you!”
