She may have arrived at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammys party with boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger but it was Rita Ora who Miley Cyrus showered with affection.
The 22-year-old singer got up close and personal with the blonde beauty, puckering up for a kiss before they danced with their arms around each other at the star-studded bash held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
While Miley is smitten with Patrick and Rita, 24, is happily dating Ricky Hil, the two stars got cosy as they enjoyed one of music’s biggest nights out.
The dress was a change for the singer, who is known for the more revealing and daring ensembles that she is usually seen wearing.
She coupled the figure-hugging dress with a pair of strappy silver heels and a coordinating silver handbag.
Her short blonde hair was styled straight for the occasion, and she sported bright red lipstick as well as a coordinating red manicure.
Rita arrived in a long white dress which appeared to take inspiration from Liz Hurley’s famed safety pin Versace gown.
However, she changed into a plunging black pantsuit for her performance with Iggy Azalea and left it on afterwards.
It was after her performance that she and Miley put on their display of affection as they took in the other performers.
Miley has been romantically linked to Patrick – who is descended from the Kennedy political dynasty and is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver – since the late autumn.
She has labelled him the ‘best boyfriend ever’, and despite their different backgrounds the two do indeed seem well suited.
They have been spotted enjoying a series of vacations, as well as some rather daring nights out – including one at a strip club.
But while Arnie has given his son’s new squeeze the seal of approval with a family breakfast, Maria has not been seen with the controversial young star.
